The 3M™ Speedglas™ Heavy-Duty Back Pack enables the Powered Air Purifying Respirators to be worn on the users back as a backpack. This configuration allows the PAPR to be worn on the wearer's back rather than on a belt at the waist, and may also enable the PAPR to be worn when a worker already wears other equipment around their waist.

The 3M™ Speedglas™ Heavy-Duty Back Pack is optimized for 3M™ Adflo™ PAPR's and welding applications, but may be used for selected additonal 3M™ PAPR's (3M™ Versaflo™ PAPR TR-Series and heavy duty industry).
